7 Mile Rehab

The 7 Mile Rehabilitation Centre provides residential care for individuals, couples and families managing drug and alcohol dependency.

We help clients who want to beat their addiction. 

​

7 Mile Rehab is funded by the National Indigenous Australian Agency.

About 7 Mile Rehab

​7 Mile Rehab helps people get back on track, manage their addiction and learn skills for better physical, mental, social and cultural wellbeing.

​

Our centre offers:

  • Private accommodation for up to 10 single persons, 3 couples and 3 families

  • Certified Rehabilitation Program (6-12 weeks)

  • Professional and confidential support

  • Individual and Group Counselling 

  • Aboriginal cultural sensitivity in service delivery

​

Participants complete courses in drug and alcohol education, cognitive behavioural therapy and relapse prevention. 

​

We encourage and facilitate residents getting out on country for fishing, yarns and cultural healing.

​

Client rights and responsibilities are explained upon arrival. These rules ensure clients have a beneficial experience and protect clients, children, staff and visitors on site. 

All visitors must sign in at the main office before visiting residents.

​

Visitors must not bring alcohol or drugs onto the premises. If you bring alcohol or drugs in you will be asked to leave immediately and will not be allowed back. Any intoxicated visitor will be asked to leave. 

​

Children are welcome to visit but must be supervised at all times.

​

Visitors may attend the site:

  • Monday - Friday 2pm - 4pm

  • Other times by appointment only

Referrals

7 Mile Rehab accepts referrals from individuals, family members and agencies such as OVAHS, Kimberley hospital, Anglicare, Milliya Rumurra and Legal services.

Clients receive three meals a day prepared on site by our cooks, and can access snacks at any time. The menu changes regularly, and dietary requirements can be accommodated on request.
